How we work

We prefer to work as a team, with both of us present on the special day. This gives us the flexibility to take both formal / traditional wedding pictures as well as more subtle reportage type wedding images where we try to capture people in a more natural way.

Prior to your wedding day we like to visit the church or venue with you to familiarise ourselves with the layout and lighting conditions. This also helps us to get to know you and for you to feel more relaxed with us. We truly believe the better rapport we have with you the more comfortable you will feel and the better you will look in your wedding pictures.

On the day, one of us will shadow the Bride and the other the Groom so that we can capture the preparations. Once at the church or venue we then work together taking as many shots as we see whilst, following any requests you may have, before moving to the reception. At the reception we continue to capture your day taking pictures during the speeches and cake cutting if required.

What we provide

We do not limit the number of pictures we take. This is one of the nice things about digital compared to film, although we may use film in some circumstances. Once all the pictures are taken we will select and prepare a sample slide show on DVD which you can use to tell us which ones you would like in an album. These are your pictures so it is important that you are happy with their presentation.

Once the pictures are agreed, we prepare a final slideshow backed to music of the day (chosen by you), as well as your chosen album.

You have the option to have all the pictures supplied on a DVD so you can reprint / pass on to your friends and family. We simply reserve the right to use the images for our own marketing purposes.

How much do we charge?

We appreciate that the cost of wedding photographers varies enormously. We provide this service because we enjoy it, however, that does not mean that we are any less professional. We both entrusted each other to capture our own weddings. We have captured the weddings of our friends and it is them that have encouraged us to capture yours.
