Sonia & Gareth met at the Bridge Club whilst at university which was used as the theme for their wedding table plan. The wedding took place at Silchester House, near Reading, a delightful and intimate small hotel. Being a winter wedding we knew that the weather was going to be difficult in terms of rain and light. Originally the plan was the have the ceremony in one of the main reception rooms and the wedding breakfast in the marque erected on the lawn however, the weather was so bad that the marque ripped and could not be used. The hotel were very professional at resolving the issue whilst Sonia & Gareth just took it in their stride. There were no opportunities for pictures outside during the 4 hours we attended however, Silchester House lends itself well to wedding photographs.
